WEST MEMPHIS 3 RALLY IN LITTLE ROCK

A rally for three men accused in the 1993 murders of three 8 year old boys in West Memphis will be held in Little Rock today. Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, referred to as the West Memphis 3, were convicted of murder in the internationally known case. But almost four years ago, sighting lack of physical evidence linking the WM3 to the murders, officials wanting to avoid another lengthy, costly trial and the accused men agreeing to take the “Alfred” plea, they were released from prison. Now a group called Justice 6 wants the men’s criminal records expunged and are asking authorities to reopen the investigation into the decades old murder case. The Justice 6 group also says the young victims deserve justice. The rally is expected to bring a few hundred supporters including some of the parents of the victims. Below are pictures of the West Memphis 3 in 1993 after their arrests and how they appear today. The last picture is of the three 8 year old victims, Steven Branch. Christopher Byers, Michael Moore.
