If you are my age, you grew up on TV Dinners. Frozen TV Dinners were pre-cooked dinners flash frozen and packaged in these small, foil-covered tin treys that you heated in the oven. It’s how you did it before the microwave. Even with the success of these TV Dinners, I don’t remember them being very good. But, I’m sure they were lifesavers for moms as women began to join the workforce back in the day. On National TV Dinner Day, we salute the TV Dinner. Check out this vintage TV Dinner commercial.
