I recently read the results of a survey stating that 22% of Americans couldn’t name the three branches of government. That’s shocking because it’s one of the first things you learn about our government in school. Since today is National Constitution Day, I thought a history lesson of our Constitution is a good place to start learning how and why our government works and how the constitution guides our country’s leaders and laws while protecting American citizen’s rights.
