More jobs are coming to NEA because of a 2.2 million dollar grant from the Arkansas Economic Development Committee. Ozark Mountain Poultry received the grant to expand their plant in Magness, 12 miles south of Batesville in Independence county, to build a feed mill and production line. The expansion would mean 225 new jobs to the Batesville area along with bolstering the local economy.
