Congrats to the Westside High School AP U.S. History students who recently competed in the Arkansas District 2 National History Day at Lyon College in Batesville. Team member Dustin Proffitt placed second in the Individual Documentary category for “Walt Disney: Leadership and Legacy”; Sarah Doty, Brittany McIntosh, Samantha Brown, Dalis Gott and Megan McCarthy won second place in the Live Performance category for “Joan of Arc: Leadership and Legacy”; Ashleigh Smith won 1st place in Individual Exhibit category for “Leadership and Legacy for FDR & The March of Dimes. These Westside students are now eligible for the state competition later this month. Congratulations to all from Mix 106.3!
