ERIN ANDREWS WINS $55 MILL JUDGEMENT

A jury yesterday awarded ESPN sports reporter Erin Andrews a 55 million dollar judgement against the man who secretly video taped her changing clothes through the peep hole in her hotel room door. The jury also found the hotel, Nashville Marriott, was negligent and 50% responsible for the lawsuit. Some people are saying that while Andrews deserves to be compensated, the amount awarded is way too much. Those people argue in cases where people have died the juries have awarded their families far less amounts. Erin Andrews is certainly alive and her career has sky rocketed since the incident. Others say the amount was appropriate to send a message to the multi-million dollar hotels who have an obligation to protect their customers while in their care. What do you think?
