A LITTLE BIT COUNTRY, A LITTLE BIT ROCK-N-ROLL, A LOT OF TALENT

You can’t turn on the TV these days without seeing Marie Osmond in a weight loss commercial of some sort. To me she is gorgeous. Admittedly, some of that diva look is from after factory add-ons. I’m sure there been a nip and tuck here. Maybe a little lift there. She has probably had a breast enhancement. And of course, good clean living has helped her maintain her beauty. But that’s now. Ever wonder what she looked like back in the day? I’m mean back in the day like in the 1970’s. Well, she was pretty cute back then, too! Marie, along with her equally talented brother Donnie, stared in their own variety show on ABC from 1976 to 1979. There was singing, dancing, comedy skits and special guest stars. We watched it every Friday night. One of the staples of the program was the “I’m a little bit country. I’m a little bit rock-n-roll” feature where Marie (a little bit country) would sing a country song and Donnie (a little bit rock-n-roll) would sing a rock song. Everybody remembers that. But, do you remember the song the young duo sang to ALWAYS closed their show? If you don’t know, you’ll have to watch the very first show of the first season below to find out!
