40 YEARS IN ONE NIGHT

If you weren’t at the grocery store last night hoarding the bread and milk for the approaching winter weather, you were probably sitting in front of the TV watching the 40th Anniversary Special for Saturday Night Live! Former and present SNL cast members gave us three and a half hours of memories. I remember watching some of the classic “Not Ready For Primetime Players” skits that were shown during last night’s special when they originally aired back in the 70’s. For me, the special was like any other SNL episode. The skits were hit or miss. Some were funny and others fell flat. But, it didn’t matter. The entertainment value for me was the celebration and the look back at the show that I grew up watching. Here are a some of the skits from last night’s SNL 40th Anniversary Special.
