20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DEATH OF PRINCESS DIANA

I remember sitting up late watching TV back on August 31st, 1997. As I scrolled through channel after channel, I came across one of the 24/7 news channels with a “breaking news” banner on the screen. Thinking that it was some kind of event going on here in America, I turned up the volume to hear more details. As I listened I began to realize this was a story coming from Great Britain. Then I heard the announcer say the words, “Princess Diana has died in a car crash”. I was stunned, shocked and saddened. I woke up my wife to tell her. We both sat there staring the TV in disbelief. This week marks the 20th anniversary of the death of Princess Diana. It’s such a sad and tragic story. So instead of remembering the crash, I thought it would be better to remember Diana from her fairy tale wedding to Princess Charles. Here it is in two parts.
