Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Jan. 29, 2025 – Love is in the air as people prepare to celebrate Valentine’s Day. If you’re struggling to find the perfect way to celebrate, here are a few upcoming events in Jonesboro that could help you with your plans.

Feb. 1

Zachary’s Sensory Gym’s First Valentine’s Day Bake Sale: The sale will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Chandler’s Salon, 2209 E. Highland Drive. This event is a fundraiser for Zachary’s Sensory Gym, which will be for special needs kids and adults. Donations go towards having other fundraising and that will lead to buying the equipment that is needed for the gym and getting the building.

Now through Feb. 6

Valentine’s Book Bouquet Bundle: Book lovers can purchase this from Generations Floral Company and Verb Bookstore. Pre-orders are open now through Feb. 6 online. Purchase Book Bouquet Bundle and choose between a one-book bundle and a wrapped bouquet for $50 or a three-book bundle and a bouquet for just $100. Plus, you pick your “spice level” for the books to suit your style and vibe.

Feb. 8

Valentine’s Amore Party: This is hosted by Hijinx: The Funtivity Spot and will be from 6-9 p.m. at Hijinx, 3102 Shelby Drive. Choose from two packages, including the $69.99 Couple’s Special, which features one hour of bowling for two, a one-topping pizza, a pitcher of drink and two 30-minute game cards; or the $89.99 Ultimate Date Night, which features 1.5 hours of bowling (up to five per lane), a one-topping pizza, a pitcher of drink and five 30-minute game cards.

Feb. 11

Tween STEAM: Pop-Art Colorblock Hearts: Hosted by the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library this event will be from 4-5 p.m. in the Round Room at the library. During this free painting workshop, tweens will have the chance to paint their own pop art-inspired Colorblock hearts.

Feb. 12

DIY Heart-Warming Home-Café Treats for Teens: The library will host this event from 4-5 p.m. in the Round Room as teens design their own sweet treats, including chocolate-dipped pretzels, hand-crafted parfaits, and more.

Feb. 13

Petals and Pours: A Galentine’s Day Celebration: Join Generations Floral Company and VP Mixology from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. at Generations Floral Company, 124 S. Main St. This event will feature a Stem Bar, where you can pick your favorite blooms and greenery to build your own bud vase or create a wrapped bouquet. It will also feature a Grab-and-Go station, where you can choose from pre-made arrangements and bud vases; as well as the Specialty Sips bar by Mixology, where you can treat yourself to handcrafted beverages. Tickets can be purchased during the event for a complementary drink.

Feb. 13 – 14

Roses on the Lawn: Alpha Omicron Pi will be selling roses in honor of Valentine’s Day for a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Heritage Plaza Lawn on the Arkansas State University campus. Roses will be $2 each. This event is open to the public.

Feb. 14

Galentine’s Day – Fake Cake Crafts: Hosted by the Craighead County Jonesboro Public Library, this free event will be from 4-5 p.m. in the Round Room at the library. Registration is required for this event. Call 870-935-5133 or visit the library’s Adult Services desk for more information.

Wildlife-Valentine’s Day: Love the Unloved: The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission will host this event from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Forrest L Wood Crowley’s Ridge Nature Center, located at 600 E. Lawson Road, to celebrate some of Arkansas’s more misunderstood animals. The center will host different animal programs at the top of every hour from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m., which will include snakes, tarantulas, and alligators. Registration is not required for this event.

Valentine’s Day Sip and Paint: This is hosted by Sahara Rose Boutique from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the boutique, located at 311 S. Main Street, Suite B, in downtown Jonesboro. All painting supplies, complimentary drinks (non-alcoholic available), expert guidance, snacks and jewelry are included in this event. Tickets $28 for a single ticket or $50 for two, visit Valentine’s Day Sip and Paint Ticket to reserve a spot.
