Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Sept. 26, 2025 – Two Jonesboro men are behind bars after police said they used their car to run another vehicle off the road and then threatened to kill one of its occupants.

According to an affidavit, on Sept. 25, Jonesboro police officers were dispatched to Belt Street and Greensboro Road for a fight at the scene of a crash. The investigation determined the victims were being followed by a blue car occupied by 27-year-old Marcus Alexander Williams and 23-year-old Ja’quez Montek Henry.

One of the victims told police that one of the suspects kicked the victims’ Jeep, and he sped off. Williams, driving the blue car, chased the victims, running stop signs and repeatedly ramming the Jeep to try to perform a PIT maneuver, the affidavit said.

This caused both vehicles to go airborne at Belt Street and Greensboro Road, resulting in the Jeep losing control, running off the road, and crashing through two fences.

After the crash, Williams and Henry got out of their vehicle. Henry approached the Jeep, telling one of the victims that he was “going to kill” them, the affidavit said.

This caused the victim to run from the scene out of fear for their life. SkyCop video showed Henry chasing the victim, and the victim identified that Williams rammed the vehicle and Henry made the threat.

Both men appeared before District Judge David Boling Sept. 26, finding probable cause to charge them. Williams faces two counts of aggravated assault, first-degree criminal mischief, and violation of a no-contact order. He was given a $250,000 cash/surety bond and ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor upon release.

Henry faces a first-degree terroristic threatening charge. He was given a $75,000 cash/surety and also ordered to wear a GPS ankle monitor.

Williams and Henry are both scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 25.
