Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes are available through area animal rescues and shelters, as well as opportunities to help homeless animals through foster programs, donations, and help with fundraisers and other family-friendly activities.

JRN has partnered with area animal shelters to present “Pets of the Week.” We will feature a handful of animals each week. If interested in adopting or volunteering with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society, go to neahs.org.

Meet Sweet Potato: Sweet Potato is a 1-year, 7-month-old female domestic shorthair cat. She’s been in the shelter for 18 weeks and is up to date on all of her vaccines. She’s been spayed and microchipped and is ready to go home! She’s got a cute, bobbed tail and is very affectionate and playful.

Meet Little Girl: Little Girl is Bundle’s mama! She is a 33.2 lbs. female and is two years and 4 months old. She came in with Lady Bug about 18 weeks ago. She’s heartworm negative and up to date on all of her vaccines and preventatives. Little Girl is playful, talkative, and very sweet!
