Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – After a brief closure that left Jonesboro diners hungry for answers, Pastaria 49 announced Thursday evening that it will reopen its doors.

The restaurant announced that it will reopen to the public at 11:00 a.m. on March 11, according to a news release.

The popular Italian spot originally shuttered in late December, but a cryptic “Are we reopening?” Facebook post in January sparked a wave of community interest.

According to the release, “This reopening represents a fresh start for us — a renewed vision, an elevated atmosphere, and a continued commitment to serving quality Italian food made with care.”

“Our goal has always been to create a place where families and friends can gather over great food in a welcoming environment,” said owner Navid Budhwani. “With my partner Kaylin Olivas, we’ve taken this time to refine and improve Pastaria while staying true to what made it special in the first place.”

Diners returning to the Red Wolf Boulevard location can expect a familiar experience with a few updates. “While guests will notice updates throughout the restaurant and menu, we’re proud to keep the favorites our community already loves, including our popular Hot Honey ‘Roni pizza,” the release added.

The timing of Pastaria 49’s return fills a void for Italian cuisine in the city, following the permanent closure of Lazzari Italian Oven in early January.

The restaurant will provide updates on its Facebook page ahead of the grand reopening.
