Paragould, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – May 23, 2025 – A Paragould couple will receive a new roof for their home after winning the “Roof Rescue,” a contest presented by the Jonesboro Media Group and its advertising partner, Roof Raiders.

Kristen Adams is the secretary at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School. She was working Monday morning when trucks from Roof Raiders and vans from Jonesboro Media Group radio stations pulled up to the school. Kristen’s husband, Jonathan, had taken time off work to join her as well. “The principal, Mr. Fulkerson, told me that my wife was receiving an award, so I wanted to be here,” Jonathan Adams said.

Trey Stafford, President/General Manager of Jonesboro Media Group and co-host of the 104.9 The Fox Stafford and Frigo morning show, informed Kristen that she had won the contest. “Oh my gosh, I know I entered over a hundred times,” Kristen said. She also posted to her Facebook page, “We are beyond blessed and can’t believe we won this amazing contest.”

Over the course of four weeks listeners of Jonesboro Media Group radio stations (104.9 The Fox, 100.5 The Eagle, Mix 106.3, Hot 107.5, EZ 92,7, 98.5 The Outlaw) were given five opportunities each day to enter the contest. “Kristen must have listened and entered just about every time,” said Stafford.

This is the third year Roof Raiders has awarded a new roof through the Roof Rescue promotion with the Jonesboro Media Group. In the coming days crews from Roof Raiders will make any necessary repairs to Kristen and Jonathan’s roof, remove their old shingles and install a new roof. “We love doing this with you guys” Jeff Kohler, one of the owners of Roof Raiders told Stafford on a video posted to announce the winner. The prize has a value of up to $20,000.
