Less Than One Week Left to Apply for Mayor’s Youth Advancement Council in Jonesboro

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Less than one week remains for those wanting to submit their applications for the Mayor’s Youth Advancement Council (MYAC).

According to a Facebook post from the City of Jonesboro, MYAC members volunteer at community events, help with beautification projects, organize various outreach initiatives, build their leadership skills, and more. The MYAC is open to Jonesboro-area students in grades 9-12.

“This is your chance to get involved and help shape the future of Jonesboro,” the post said. “From neighborhood clean-ups and community service projects to leadership opportunities and award-winning initiatives, MYAC is all about empowering students to create positive change while building friendships, experience, and lifelong connections.”

Those wanting to join need to submit their applications by July 1. The application for new members in grades 9-11 can be found here, while the one for returning members is here.
