Early voting ends Monday for Preferential Primary; Election Day is Tuesday, March 3

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – Early voting for the Preferential Primary in Craighead County ends Monday, with election day for this cycle on Tuesday, March 3.

Early voting numbers have been strong, up nearly 2,000 voters over the previous election in 2024. As of Feb. 28, 4,409 have voted in Jonesboro and 586 in Lake City, for a total of 4,995 voters.

There are two early voting locations in Craighead County. Both locations will close on Monday at 5:00 p.m.

Early Voting Locations

  • Election Annex: 315 W. Jefferson Ave., Jonesboro
  • Lake City Courthouse: 113 Cobean Blvd., Lake City

Registered voters can click here to see a sample ballot. After clicking the link, voters should enter their information and click the “Look Up” button. Make sure the Election Details read “03/03/2026 2026 Preferential Primary,” and sample ballots will be available for viewing that are relevant to each voter’s district.

On Election Day, March 3, voting will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Polling centers across the county are listed below. Registered Craighead County voters can vote at any location.
