This week, we have Oliver, who doesn’t say no to playtime, and June, that’ll fit in right at home with anyone who is a dog lover. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:

Oliver: Playful and Affectionate

Oliver is a 12-week-old male domestic short hair. He came in with his litter about a month ago, so he’s all up to date on vaccines and preventatives. He’ll be neutered and microchipped before adoption.

Oliver is one of our favorites because he’s so playful and affectionate, so he’s going to make someone a wonderful pet!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

June: A Dog Lover’s Kind of Dog

June, aka Junebug, is a female large mix who is a little over two years old. She’s been in the shelter system for about a year, but she’s spent that time with a foster family who’s taking excellent care of her!

June is up to date, spayed, and heartworm negative. She’ll be microchipped before adoption. Most importantly, June is intelligent, friendly, and active, and she enjoys people and other dogs, so she easily fits into almost any “pack”!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

How You Can Help

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, you can still assist Oliver and June by sharing this article on social media or sending it to friends and neighbors. Helping spread the word increases their visibility and helps connect them with potential adopters in Northeast Arkansas.
