Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Finding a new best friend often starts right in our own backyard, and bringing a rescue pet into your home brings unmatched reward.

Each week, Jonesboro Right Now teams up with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS) to feature local pets available for adoption. This week’s featured pets are Gruber, a medium-sized puppy looking for his new home, and Roscoe, a tent-loving cat who’s ready to be adopted. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:

Meet Gruber: A Friendly Playmate Looking for a Home

Gruber is a 17-week-old male puppy who will be a medium-sized mix. He’s only been in the shelter for three days, but we’re already in love! He came in with his three sisters, and we’re working on getting them all up to date. He’s healthy – very friendly and playful – and he’ll be neutered and microchipped before adoption.

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

He’s playful and affectionate, and loves tents. Roscoe is up to date on all vaccines and preventatives and will be neutered and microchipped before adoption.
