Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Finding a new best friend often starts right in our own backyard, and bringing a rescue pet into your home brings unmatched reward.

Each week, Jonesboro Right Now teams up with the Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS) to feature local pets available for adoption.

In this week’s spotlight, we have the friendly and playful Froth and the gentle giant Jed, both just waiting to find that furever home. Here are the Jonesboro Right Now Pets of the Week:

Froth: Friendly and Playful

Froth is a 25-week-old, female domestic short hair who’s been in the shelter for 13 weeks. She and her litter came in with bad colds but returned to health, and Froth is the only who hasn’t been adopted yet!

She’s up to date on vaccines and will be spayed and microchipped. Froth is friendly and playful and ready to go to her furever home!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

Jed: The Gentle Giant

Jed is one of the Clampett litter. His litter mates are Jethro, Ellie Mae, and Elroy. They’re seven months old and have been in the shelter for one month; they are up to date on vaccines and preventatives and will be microchipped and spayed/neutered.

Jed is heartworm negative and while likely will be large when fully grown, he’s already displayed the traits of a gentle giant!

How to adopt: For more details on taking the next steps to adopt, review the shelter’s guidelines here or fill out the online adoption application.

How You Can Help

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, you can still assist these two by sharing this article on social media or sending it to friends and neighbors. Helping spread the word increases their visibility and helps connect them with potential adopters in Northeast Arkansas.
