Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A Jonesboro woman is facing felony charges after allegedly forging police reports as part of a coordinated scheme to defraud a local bank of thousands of dollars.

On April 3, District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge 33-year-old Jodeci Reshelle Boston with second-degree forgery and theft of property between $5,000 and $25,000. Both charges are Class C felonies.

The investigation began when First National Bank alerted the Jonesboro Police Department to a group of five suspects. According to the probable cause affidavit, the group submitted nine forged police reports to the bank to illegally dispute charges between Nov. 21, 2025, and March 6. The combined potential loss to the bank exceeded $20,000.

Investigators discovered the suspects initially filed online reports with the Blytheville Police Department, knowing the agency would decline to investigate due to jurisdictional issues.

The suspects then allegedly altered the documents to appear as official Jonesboro police reports. Authorities determined Boston filed two of these forged reports on Jan. 13.

Boston was taken into custody at 8:10 p.m. on April 2. She is being held on a $35,000 cash/surety bond and is scheduled to appear back in court on May 18.

If convicted on all charges, she faces up to 20 years in prison and fines totaling $20,000.
