Meet Snowflake: A Staff Favorite Waiting 23 Weeks

Northeast Arkansas Humane Society

Snowflake is a 6½-year-old male shepherd mix who weighs 60 pounds. He has been at the shelter for 23 weeks.

When Snowflake first arrived at NEAHS, he tested positive for heartworms. He has since completed his full medical treatment, making him healthy and ready for adoption. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives.

Due to his calm, sweet personality, Snowflake has become a favorite among the shelter staff. He is known for being easy-going, getting along well with others, and patiently waiting for a permanent home.

Meet Cindy Lou Who: An Affectionate, Chatty Orange Tabby

Northeast Arkansas Humane Society

Cindy Lou Who is an 11-month-old female domestic shorthair orange tabby who arrived at the shelter one week ago. While the vast majority of orange tabby cats are male, Cindy Lou Who is a rarer female orange tabby.

Shelter staff describes her as highly affectionate, talkative, and cuddly. She is already spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her routine vaccines. With her friendly disposition, she is expected to make an excellent household companion.

How You Can Help

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, you can still assist Snowflake and Cindy Lou Who by sharing this article on social media or sending it to friends and neighbors. Helping spread the word increases their visibility and helps connect them with potential adopters in Northeast Arkansas.
