Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A Jonesboro man is behind bars on two bonds totaling $1.5 million after agents said they found a significant number of drugs and prescription pills at his home.
Circuit Judge Barbara Halsey found probable cause March 27 to charge 19-year-old Namarion Jerome Rodgers with a multitude of offenses, including:
- Delivery of meth or cocaine greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams (Class Y felony)
- Possession of meth or cocaine with the purpose to deliver greater than 10 grams but less than 200 grams (Class A felony)
- Possession of a Schedule VI substance with the purpose to deliver (Class C felony)
- Possession of a Schedule I or II substance (not meth or cocaine), less than two grams (Class D felony)
- Use of a communication device (Class C felony)
- Possession of drug paraphernalia (Class B felony)
- Possession of a Schedule IV or V substance less than 28 grams (Class A misdemeanor)
- Fleeing (Class C misdemeanor)

The charges stem from an investigation that began earlier in 2026, when the Second Judicial Drug Task Force received tips that Rodgers was selling “large amounts of cocaine” in the Jonesboro area.
According to the probable cause affidavit, Agent Tanner Huff was contacted by a confidential informant who claimed they could purchase cocaine directly from Rodgers. Working with authorities, the informant contacted Rodgers by phone to arrange a deal.
Agents provided the informant with buy money and a covert recording device before sending them to Rodgers’ home in the 1800 block of Fairlane Avenue to conduct the transaction. Afterward, the informant met back with the agents and handed over the purchased cocaine. The substance field-tested positive, though the exact weight was not disclosed in the affidavit.
Based on the controlled buy, a warrant was secured for Rodgers’ arrest.
On March 26, agents arrived at Rodgers’ home to arrest him. A separate affidavit notes that upon seeing the agents in his front yard, Rodgers immediately ran back inside the house. Officers forced their way inside, located Rodgers, and took him into custody.
A subsequent search of the home revealed a variety of illicit substances and drug paraphernalia, including:
- 28 grams of cocaine
- 98 grams of marijuana flower packaged in multiple bags
- 34 packaged two-gram THC vapes
- Nine kratom pills
- One Alprazolam bar
- A digital scale with cocaine and marijuana residue
- Plastic baggies used for packaging
During his Friday court appearance, Rodgers was issued two $750,000 cash/surety bonds for the separate cases against him.
Rodgers is scheduled to appear in court for both cases on May 18. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to life in prison and fines reaching $63,000.
