Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Jonesboro Church Health Center (JCHC) will complete its 34th Annual Peach Fundraiser on Wednesday, July 22, by delivering 420 cases of fresh Georgia peaches to supporters throughout Northeast Arkansas.

The peaches will arrive from Georgia by refrigerated truck before being sorted and distributed by volunteers to businesses and individuals across the community. This year’s fundraiser generated more than $66,000 to support the Center’s mission of providing high-quality, affordable medical care to uninsured adults in Northeast Arkansas.

“This annual tradition is the largest fundraising campaign for the Jonesboro Church Health Center,” said Charlott Jones, JCHC board treasurer and peach committee chair. “We surpassed last year’s fundraising total and are grateful for the continued support of community members who purchase peaches and make donations to advance our mission.”

The fundraiser depends on dozens of volunteers who help market the campaign, coordinate delivery routes, sort orders, and distribute peaches throughout the community.

“This effort would not be possible without our incredible volunteers and supporters,” said Reagan McNeil, JCHC board president. “Their commitment helps ensure that uninsured adults in our community continue to have access to the healthcare services they need. We are grateful for their ongoing support of our mission.”
