Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Feb. 20, 2025 – Routes for the Jonesboro Economic Transit (JET) buses and trash pickup are still affected by icy roads.
The City of Jonesboro said in a Facebook post that the sanitation routes, which were already on an adjusted schedule due to the Presidents’ Day holiday on Monday, have been further adjusted to account for delays due to the weather-related closures on Wednesday.
“Sanitation routes will now include completing Tuesday’s pickup and moving to the Wednesday pickup, as conditions allow,” the Facebook post said.

Additionally, JET will continue running a three-route schedule on Thursday, Feb. 20, but it said in a Facebook post it plans to be operating regular weekday hours. To see the schedule, click here.
Due to road conditions, JET said in a Facebook post the following stops were inaccessible:
Red Route:
- Harrisburg at Links
- Caraway at Links
- Harrisburg at Dollar General/JHDC
Green Route:
- Richardson at Race Street
- Access Road at Fairfield Inn
- Middlefield Drive at St. Elizabeth’s
- Apache Drive and Red Wolf Boulevard
