“When we cast the vision for our medical school, Dr. Jackson was exactly the type of physician we hoped to train,” said Shane Speights, D.O., dean of NYITCOM at A-State. “He’s a leader who has a heart for his patients, his community, and for the next generation of physicians he’s going to teach and mentor. We could not be more thrilled to have him join our team.”

A native of Greenbrier, Jackson joined NYITCOM at A-State’s first class in 2016 after completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas. In addition to earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, he also participated in the med school’s academic scholars program, through which he earned a Master of Science in academic medicine.
