Paragould, AR – Contributed – Cutter & Cash and the Kentucky Grass will perform traditional bluegrass and acoustic music at the next KASU-FM Bluegrass Monday concert.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 18, at the Collins Theatre, 120 West Emerson St. in Paragould.
From Marion, KY,19-year-old Cutter Singleton and his 16-year-old brother Cash are rising young stars in bluegrass music. Each began playing bluegrass music at age 5, and they now perform 100 concerts each year with their band, Kentucky Grass.
Cutter Singleton appeared on the internationally syndicated radio program “WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour” as a child as part of its “WoodSongs Kids” segment. He returned with his brother Cash and their band as headlining artists on the show in 2024 and 2025.
The brothers were mentored by country music superstar Jeanie Seely, who produced their recordings before her passing last year. Seely also welcomed them and their band onto the Grand Ole Opry stage and its radio broadcasts on multiple occasions.
The brothers specialize in playing very traditional bluegrass music heavily influenced by bluegrass pioneers including Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs, the Delmore Brothers, the Osborne Brothers and the Louvin Brothers. Cutter and Cash sing in the tight “brother harmony” sound that pre-dated bluegrass music and was made famous by their musical heroes.
In addition to performing traditional bluegrass with their five-piece band, the Singleton brothers also play bluegrass versions of classic country songs, 1960s pop music hits, and beloved gospel songs.

The admission fee to the Bluegrass Monday concert is $10 per person, payable by cash at the door the night of the concert. Everyone aged 18 and under will be admitted free of charge. Advance tickets can be purchased here. All ticket proceeds go to the musicians, compensating them for their performance.
Groups of eight or more may request reserved seating by contacting KASU’s Marty Scarbrough. Otherwise, the theatre doors open at 6 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-served.
Acoustic musicians are invited to participate in a bluegrass music jam session to begin at 5 p.m. in the Joe Wessell Building, which is adjacent to the Collins Theatre. A section of seats in the theatre will be reserved for jammers and their guests so that they can play until the concert begins.
The Bluegrass Monday concert series is a non-profit presentation of KASU-FM, providing music fans with an affordable and outstanding evening of family-friendly entertainment. These concerts are typically held on the fourth Monday night of each month, but this month’s concert is one week earlier than usual due to the Memorial Day holiday.
