Craighead Electric Cooperative Reports Outage Affecting Over 500 Customers

Update as of 11:13 a.m. Aug. 19, 2026 (by Jody Barker): The Craighead Electric Cooperative’s outage map is showing no customers impacted in the affected area.

Bono, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – The Craighead Electric Cooperative is reporting an outage affecting over 500 customers.

According to a social media post from the cooperative, the outage is affecting 519 customers in the Bono, Oak Ridge, and Fifty-Six areas. It added that crews are responding to the affected areas, and more details will be shared once they are available.

The cooperative’s outage map said the outage began at 9:57 a.m.

“Thank you for your patience as our crews work to identify the cause and safely restore power,” the post said.
