City of Jonesboro Sanitation Routes to be on Adjusted Schedules for Memorial Day

Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – The City of Jonesboro’s sanitation routes will be on adjusted schedules due to the Memorial Day holiday.

Because city offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, which is Memorial Day, the sanitation routes will be adjusted. The city will resume normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 26.

Adjusted trash pickup routes are listed below:

  • Monday, May 25: No collection, as city offices are closed.
  • Tuesday, May 26: Run Monday and Tuesday routes
  • Wednesday, May 27: Normal collection
  • Thursday, May 28: Normal collection
  • Friday, May 29: Normal collection

The adjusted recycling pickup schedules are listed below:

  • Monday, May 25: No collection, as city offices are closed.
  • Tuesday, May 26: Run fourth Tuesday route
  • Wednesday, May 27: Run fourth Wednesday route
  • Thursday, May 28: Run fourth Thursday route
  • Friday, May 29: No collection

“Look for updates on the City’s social media outlets. Remember- NO trash or recycling collection on Monday, May 25, 2026,” a City of Jonesboro Facebook post announcing the adjustment said.
