Buff City Soap in Jonesboro Temporarily Closed After Vehicle Crashes into Building

Update at 1:30p.m. on Aug. 17, 2026: In a comment posted on JRN’s coverage, Buff City Soap said it will reopen on Aug. 18 at its normal business hours.

Jonesboro, AR – Jonesboro Right Now – Buff City Soap in Jonesboro is temporarily closed after a vehicle crashed into the building Monday morning.

Sally Smith, public information specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department, told JRN that a call came in at 10:25 a.m. for a vehicle that had crashed into the East Johnson Avenue business.

She explained that all the occupants were out of the vehicle and that there were no injuries. She added that Jonesboro firefighters were still at the scene.

Buff City Soap posted on Facebook at 10:57 a.m. that it is closed for the day and will update when it will reopen.
