Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 27, 2024 – An organization dedicated to ensuring that no fallen officer is forgotten rolled its Ride to Remember event into Jonesboro Saturday afternoon.

Beyond the Call of Duty says its mission is to make sure that the families of fallen police officers know their loved one has not been forgotten; and that there is recognition, support and understanding to help them heal.

The Jonesboro stop was scheduled to honor Patrolman Vincent “Vinnie” Parks who died when beginning training at the Central Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy in North Little Rock in July, 2022.

Parks wife, Christina, and daughter, Vivianna, were among those on hand for today’s stop at the Jonesboro Police Department. The stop at Jonesboro Police Department Headquarters was the third stop of the day for the organization following stops at the Benton, Arkansas police department and the Perry County, Arkansas sheriff’s department.
