Jonesboro, AR – (Contributed) – Beignets & Brew, the café beloved for its hot, made-to-order New Orleans–style beignets and handcrafted specialty coffee, is excited to continue spreading sweetness with plans to open a brand-new Sweet Spot in Jonesboro.
As the brand continues to grow, its mission remains unchanged: creating warm, welcoming
spaces where guests can slow down, connect, and savor life’s sweetest moments.
The upcoming Jonesboro location will be locally owned and operated by franchise partners Cody McPherson and Kristen McPherson, a husband-and-wife duo passionate about bringing community-driven concepts to the neighborhoods they serve.
“We loved the brand from the very first time we saw it and tried the hot, fresh beignets,” said Cody and Kristen McPherson. “We were hooked from the first bite.”
Cody also owns and operates several well-known restaurant franchises in the area, including Potbelly, Crumbl, and Rock N Roll Sushi, bringing a strong foundation of hospitality, leadership, and local insight to the Beignets & Brew family, an essential ingredient in the brand’s expansion across Arkansas.
“We are so excited to welcome Cody and Kristen to the Beignets & Brew Krewe,” said Chris Kramolis, Area Representative for Arkansas. “There’s something special about seeing passionate local owners introduce a fresh concept into their own community.”
Kramolis and his business partners Jason and Chris Alley opened the first Arkansas Beignets & Brew location in Little Rock in September 2025.
“The response from the community has been incredible,” Kramolis added. “We’re excited to continue growing across the state, with new locations coming soon in West Little Rock and Hot Springs.”
Guests in Jonesboro can expect the signature Beignets & Brew experience: hot, pillowy beignets made to order, handcrafted coffee creations, and a cozy, Instagram-worthy atmosphere designed for everyday indulgences and special moments alike.
