Jonesboro, AR – Contributed – The Arvest Foundation recently announced a $4,000 grant to the Jonesboro Church Health Center.

The grant will be used to fund the organization’s mission of providing low-cost, high-quality medical care to low-income and uninsured individuals.

Kevin Hufstedler, community president of Arvest Bank – Jonesboro, presented the check on behalf of the Arvest Foundation to Michelle Lady, executive director of the Jonesboro Health Church Clinic; Kim Metcalf, clinic director; Kathy Cole, board secretary; and Charlott Jones, board treasurer. Hufstedler was joined by Arvest associates Chad Harbison, business banker, and Selena Barber, community marketing specialist.

“We are honored to support the mission of the Jonesboro Church Health Center and present this grant on behalf of the Arvest Foundation,” said Hufstedler. “The Arvest Foundation is committed to providing grants to organizations actively working to serve our communities. We are truly thankful for the services the JCHC is providing and all they do to deliver quality healthcare services for our neighbors.”

The Jonesboro Church Health Center will celebrate 35 years of service in 2027. Nurse Florence “Flo” Jones helped found the organization, and her daughters, Charlott Jones and Kathy Cole, both serve on the board today.

“The Jonesboro Church Health Center is grateful for a continued partnership with the Arvest Foundation, whose commitment to improving the quality of life in our community aligns closely with the JCHC mission,” said Lady. “This generous gift helps us provide low-cost, high-quality medical care to uninsured individuals in the area. Because of the Arvest Foundation’s support, more patients will have access to needed healthcare without the burden of overwhelming medical costs.”
