ARDOT asks for public comment on proposed improvements in Brookland

Brookland, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – The Arkansas Department of Transportation is conducting an in-person public involvement meeting to discuss proposed improvements to two intersections on Highway 49 in Brookland.

The meeting will be held at the Brookland High School Auditorium, 200 W. School St., this afternoon, Nov. 13, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The intersections at Highway 49 and School Street and Highway 49 at County Road 762 are both under consideration for improvement. The proposed project for both is to improve safety and enhance traffic operations.

This afternoon’s public meetings will allow citizens to speak with staff and have any questions addressed before the start of intersection improvements.

Materials for this afternoon’s meeting can be found here. Comments for these projects will be accepted until 4:30 pm on Monday, Dec. 1 and can be submitted online.
