Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Aug 28, 2024 – Jonesboro police were called to the scene of an aggravated robbery this afternoon.
A “shots fired” call came into dispatch just before 5:00 pm from a home in the 1700 block of Wembleton Drive.
According to Public Information Specialist for the Jonesboro Police Department Sally Smith, a robbery led to a shoot-out between a suspect and a homeowner.
9 mm shell casings were found on the property, and several rounds hit the homeowner’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
According to a dispatch report, a suspect known to police was in the suspect vehicle, reportedly a green charger, but no details have been confirmed by JPD.
