Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – July 16, 2024 – As the homeless population rises in Jonesboro, so does the support of the community.

Neighbors in Jonesboro came together to feed those in need for the second year in a row. Neighbors in Need Community Picnic fed over 500 hungry neighbors in North Jonesboro.

The community event was hosted at The Hope House on Fisher Street.

The Hope House is a day shelter and resource center for the homeless. The Jonesboro community embraced those without homes as family as they expressed love for our citizens through food, music, and games.

With Jonesboro’s growing numbers and increasing homeless population, the housing crisis in Jonesboro grows.

This annual community picnic hopes to raise awareness of the local Jonesboro programs making a difference in the homeless or at-risk population in our city.
