Jonesboro, AR – JonesboroRightNow.com – A Jonesboro man is being held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond after police said he damaged a home and threatened to kill multiple people earlier this month.

  • Possession of drug paraphernalia (Class D felony)
  • Tampering with physical evidence (Class D felony)

According to the probable cause affidavit, on May 3, Jonesboro police officers were dispatched to a home in the 200 block of East Center Street for an attempted break-in. When they arrived, one victim said she was outside when Bobbitt tried to enter the home by force, causing damage to the property.

The victim, along with three others, told Bobbitt to leave, but he reached into his waistband and pulled out what they described as a pistol similar in appearance to those carried by law enforcement. Bobbitt walked away from the property while holding the pistol and threatened to shoot and kill all the victims.

Officers found Bobbitt shortly after. He was in possession of a BB gun and was placed under arrest. While being taken to the Craighead County Detention Center, an officer saw Bobbitt manipulating a string. It was found that Bobbitt was attempting to conceal a meth pipe and tampering with the evidence.

In addition to the $100,000 bond, Boling also ordered Bobbitt to have no contact with the victims.

Bobbitt’s next court appearance is scheduled for June 26. If convicted on all charges, he faces up to 12 years in prison and fines up to $21,000.

The online jail roster shows Bobbitt was arrested at 10:15 p.m. May 9, the same time and day as 20-year-old Isaiah Allen Mccullough. Another probable cause affidavit states that on May 9, both men were noticed by police carrying weapons, and while Bobbitt dropped his, Mccullough did not, and police were able to obtain the weapon.

The document goes on to say that police found multiple drugs, including fentanyl and paraphernalia, in Mccullough’s backpack. He faces multiple drug possession charges and is being held on a $100,000 cash/surety bond. Bobbitt has not made an appearance for this incident.
