Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Oct. 21, 2024 – The Jonesboro Christmas parade will shift its routes in response to part of Main Street closing.

As of now, parade participants will be directed to line up in the parking area of Bill’s Cost Plus on Johnson. The route will head south from there, with the parade coming across the bridge toward downtown. The parade will officially begin at the intersection of Burke and Union (behind Skinny J’s) and it will end at the intersection of Oak and Union.

Organizers will close Union to through traffic beginning at about 5:00 pm. Main Street, usually closed during the parade, will be open for business.

Sponsored by Right Fiber, Gamble Home Furnishings and The Solutions Group, this year’s theme will be Christmas Movies, which happens on Dec. 6 at 7 pm.

Vendors such as Southern Confections, Crumbl Cookies and others, will be set up in the parking lot at the corner of Huntington and Union, next to the Jonesboro Radio Group building.

Also new this year is a registration deadline of Nov. 22. You can register your float or group, become a sponsor, volunteer and even buy a parade t-shirt at jonesborochristmasparade.com.

Parade pricing is listed and you’ll be able to pay online. There will be no late registration.
