A-State Choirs present Sounds of the Season holiday concert

Jonesboro, AR – (JonesboroRightNow.com) – Nov. 29, 2024 – Arkansas State University choirs will showcase their fourth annual Sounds of the Season concert in Riceland Hall of Fowler Center this holiday season.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 5 and will feature performances by the Diamond Brass Band and the Jonesboro High School Cane Carolers.

A-State Choirs will showcase various seasonal pieces, including holiday classics “Silent Night” by Franz Gruber and “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” by Walter Kent.

Conductors for the performance include Dr. Ryan Sullivan, director of choral activities; Dr. Marques J. Ruff, assistant professor of music; Dr. Nicholas Balla, director of bands; and Krisie Holmes, choral director at Jonesboro High School.

The event is open to the public. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the box office located in Fowler Center, 201 Olympic Dr.
